What if you get stranded on an island with just a bunch of little kids, and out of nowhere a dead parachutist lands on the island? The dead parachutist may symbolize violence towards the kids. He could also be indicated as the beast; the boys are thinking that there is a thing called the beast and while they are looking for the beast they find the parachutist which makes them believe that he is the beast. The parachutist does symbolize something other than what the beast and the Lord of the Flies represents. The dead parachutist can be represented in many different ways. The dead parachutists represents violence. He signifies violence by after everybody sees the parachutists, they think he is the beast and when Simon tries telling them that
