Women are very unique in their own special way and they can be able to use that gift that God gave them as a deacon. I feel that not having women makes all of us notice that something is missing. We all want to show young people or kids through church that anyone can be anything and we should use an example of having women deacons. Just as men need to talk to each other women need to talk to each other and with a women being deacon we can be able to relate to one another. Sometimes a women may not be comfortable with talking to the male deacon and vice-versa so, we should all be able to have male or women deacon to be able to talk to. The tasks of women deacons include praying for the sick women, giving holy communion to others, having an assembly for their selves, and helping each other when one of their own may be having a rough day. While men may be given more authority on Earth, women and men are viewed as equals in the eyes of God when it comes to their faith. Another example of men being given power over women is in the church. Men are called to be leaders of the Church. To the Corinthians, Paul writes, "women should be silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as the law also says" (1 Cor. 14:34).…

You begin your morning at school, standing to say the Pledge of Allegiance, then are forced to say a prayer praising Jesus and God for your independence. What if you don’t believe in Christianity? In the 1960’s, there was a law passed by New York, stating that public schools would open the day with the Pledge of Allegiance, then a non-denominational prayer in which students were to recognize their independence upon God. Then, in 1962, a parent sued on behalf of his child, arguing that the law violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, as made applicable to the states through the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. The case was moved all the way to the Supreme Court, which resulted in a six to one vote in favor of the plaintiff.…

The woman is not to take a “public part in the service.” The idea behind this is that only this public service is included in these restrictions. The problem in Lipscomb’s estimation is that Christians limit too much of their worshipful activities to a public arena. He suggests that women are allowed to do all of these things in the private sector, outside of the service.…
