I think that going to the conference would allow me to meet different types of journalists and talk to them about the skills I could use to better my own journalism. I have been to college media conferences before and each time, I pick up new skills, friends and knowledge that have impacted my journalism. I always have a wonderful experience at journalism conferences and I know that attending the NLGJA conference would greatly impact my career.
