I visited the Bright Horizons Daycare Center. When I walked into the daycare I was very amazed. The staff was polite. They showed me around where they had different sections. One sections were all infant and then in the next room they had toddlers.

At Bright Horizons I noticed that they have different curriculum from the infants to toddlers. From birth, babies are marvelous learners, immediately investigating the sights, sounds, and feel of the world. They are learning and developing at a faster rate than they will at any other time in their lives. They are forming early relationships that serve as a foundation for future social and emotional growth. Bright Horizons’ The World at Their Fingertips curriculum for infants provides experiences and opportunities that support the rapid and important development that is occurring in a child’s first year. Warm and nurturing interactions with caregivers, days spent in a home-like environment for learning, individualized attention and experiences, and meaningful partnerships with parents are the cornerstones of the World curriculum for infants. Infants have every opportunity to grow and thrive, celebrating the small but important achievements of infancy while preparing for the exciting next stage of childhood. Early education at Bright Horizons is designed to provide a loving, dependable, and trusting environment to help your baby reach his or her greatest potential in all areas including language development, early math and science awareness, large and small muscle growth, and social and emotional

As I made my way into Vista Adult Day Care in Maywood California, it was a narrow space for the large amount of people that were inside. As I waited for the interview with the director of this program, Eugenio Venegas, I observed how joyous people looked. At nine in the morning, the seniors in the center were very active doing their weekly swap meet gathering. On this day, the people in this program are allowed to bring anything they wish to sell among themselves, it ranged from clothes, blankets and objects. Those who wouldn’t bring anything to sell could either shop if they wish to do so, or engage in other activities such as eating, playing card games and meet up with the nurse to take their blood pressure.…

Daycare When running a daycare for children two-years-old and under, many considerations must be made in order to provide the appropriate experiences to help promote their biological, cognitive and psychosocial development. One of my primary goals would be to maintain a group of staff members that I have ensured are reliable, extremely trustworthy and planned on working for me for at least a year or two. I would want to help maintain a constant environment for the zero to two-year-olds. Children who are two-years-old need very different care then one-year-olds or kids who are even younger. As they got closer to two and above, I would make sure they were being read to daily and being exposed to memory exercises, for example, identifying animals and basic shapes, while still being provide with an adequate amount of…

The first observation I did was at the Esmelda daycare, this daycare is a family daycare there the woman and husband showed me what they did every day they said that the toddler had hours for everything like what time they eat, how much time they had to play. Esmelda daycare promote language through play time she has book that help the toddlers learn the different animal or the ABC the woman would read the book to toddler by pointing to animal or letter and saying what it was she would also promote language by playing with the toys like counting how many Lego blocks there is or by saying the color of the toy right now. Esmelda daycare is not fully completed with all the material the toddlers need they are in process, but still not being a fully completed daycare you can see that the women and the husband take really good care of children when I was there as she was taking to me if the children need something she would stop and put attention to what the children need instead of just keep taking to me and ignored the child. Compare to the second observation did where each children age group has his own in Esmelda daycare see has all the children together he also has the toy room apart where they just go play when is play time and can’t go in until is play time again.…

Additionally, the childcare experience for the child, the parent and the ECEs involved will be professional, thorough, and comprehensively effective. However, achievement of such, nationally, is beyond the scope of privatized small-scale childcare operations. Consequently, the Federal Government ought to take on this ambitious project. Who else, but government institutions can provide for children under 6 years and the “predictable events that provide a foundation for the daily tasks in a child’s life?” (Gillespie 2).…

I completed my infant observation at the University Child Development Center. The University Child Development Center specializes in childcare for infants all the way up to children age 12. The infant I observed was about eight months of age and was placed in a classroom that usually has a relatively small number of infants for better one on one attention. As I completed my observation, I observed all five developmental domains which include physical, emotional and social, cognitive, adaptive, and language and communication.…
