Day Tripper, By The Beatles, And R & B/Soul

There are many types of music genre. Genres are different to countries, culture, and tradition. When I feel depressed or excited, I listen to music which matches the feeling. I joined the English Club two weeks ago; members of the club introduced some kinds of music and described them. Genres that I often listen to country folk by John Denver, blues rock by The Beatles, and R&B/Soul by Bill Withers. Rock music is a popular music which uses an electronic guitar. Rock usually makes people excited with hard sound, but some musicians compose blues rock to describe love or loneliness. Everybody knows that The Beatles was a famous rock band in the United Kingdom. They usually sang some types of rock music; they sometimes recorded blues rock music. The Beatles’ song, “Day Tripper,” is one of their songs which I love. Main Guitar riff of the song seems me to take a vacation spot. When I listen to the song, I feel like I take a train and watch out the car window on rainy day. …show more content…
My instructor taught me a country folk song for practice. The song, for example, was “Take me home, country roads” by John Denver. His pure voice and instruments such as banjo and acoustic guitar for country folk music reminded me the sunny country in the daytime. Therefore, I started listening John Denver’s music, and I tried to copy his best songs with the guitar. Because he was a world-famous musician, my parents listened his songs. I sometimes played the “Take me home, country roads;” my parents sang the song with my guitar sound. After I have been in the United States, I like the song more than before. If I drive on quiet and narrow road, I always play the song with car audio because I think the songs matches the country landscape.
