Almost everyone continues to live a bright life, visiting dead friends and family, meeting the newly deceased until their family in Earth forgets about them, and then their world turns grey. The mention of purgatory, heaven, and hell is a hint of how Day of the Dead originated from Catholic tradition, and how it is the most popular religion in Mexico (Brandes, 1997). In this afterlife, the dead will visit their living friends and family during Day of the Dead, where they take offerings from the living like food and favorite objects, and this reflects how during day of the dead, families will clean tombs and decorate them (Cano, 2004). This version of death is just another idea or fantasy of the afterlife that shows how people truly do not understand or know what happens after death. What happens after death is simply a guess or influenced by the ideals of religion, and this version of afterlife contradicts what Christians believe what happens after
