Day Of The Dead And Halloween Comparison

Day of the dead and halloween are very similar but in different countries. They are around the same time of the year but they have two different meanings to be celebrated.

The first topic is about how they celebrate day of the dead is a 3 day period and halloween is only one day. During day of the dead they visit cemetery, leave food offerings shaped like skulls at the altar along with candles, incense and a picture of the dead person. During halloween we carve jack`o lanterns out of pumpkins, decorate the house with all spooky stuff and try to get people scared, parties, and go door to door trick or treating getting a bunch of candy. The similarity is they both threw big parties and eat food.
