LEAD PARAGRAPH

Take a walk through the outer courtyard with alleys and a collection of canons, and appreciate the complex’s façades and the dome. While you are here, you can also benefit from an open-air cinema on a nearby lawn.

The Eiffel Tower’s night sensation
The illuminated Eiffel Tower is a majestic sight both from the distance and up-close. If you take the suggested starting point (Saint Louis Islet), only the tower’s tip will be visible in the beginning. As you draw nearer to the tower while you follow the flow of the Seine, it will slowly emerge before your eyes. Make sure to have a clear view of the tower five minutes before the full hour until 1:00 am. It’s when the Eiffel Tower becomes a sparkling point for a couple of minutes, the spectacle that deserves to be attended both from the Mars Fields (in the photo) and from the distance (the Seine and Montmartre).

SUMMARY
Additional tips and recommendations
These suggestions may be the best what nighttime along the Seine River can offer, but it’s far from everything. If you wish to learn how to dance Latino dances, for example, head to the Quai Saint-Bernard (next to the Pont de Sully), where you can find a bunch of amateur or professional dancers each night during the summertime, starting from 7:00

King Louis XVI - The Awful Leader King Louis XVI, born August 23, 1754, was the last King of France and he wasn't a particularly strong leader. Although he’s one of the most famous monarchs in the 18th century who went down in history, he miserably failed at his job. The kings before him, Louis XIV and Louis XV, put the country in debt and the unemployment dropped to 50%. He was a beloved king at the beginning of his reign, but as he made more decisions he slowly became a despised king. His people stormed the Bastille to show a defiance towards him, his family got charged with treason, and he was guillotined by his people on January 21, 1793.…

This made worried because I truly did not know how they would incorporate a nightclub scene, and numerous scenes inside Gigi’s grandmas house. However, the set designers did an excellent job of making seamless transitions between the streets of Paris and different house and club sequences. With each transition, the bottom portion of what was the Eiffel tower remained on stage. The set designers would transition to different sets by using windows, curtains, and doors, which would come down from the ceiling. Even though the sets were only parts of what a house or nightclub would look like, the audience could understand where the scenes were taken place.…

The end of the Middle Ages marked the beginning of the end of the majority of dominance and influence on European ruling for the noble classes and the Roman Catholic Church. The power previously held by the two upper groups decreased as their support and authority declined. The centralization of European states such as France, Austria, Prussia, and Russia also contributed to the decline of the two former powers, and to the rise of stable monarchies. These monarchies were able to gain full control over the regions they ruled through different successful techniques, such as eliminating the power of the nobles and opposing sides within their borders, instituting and improving armies and bureaucracies, and switching loyal supporters of their…

As the first colony to speak for America’s independence from Great Britain, Virginia spoke with the unanimous voices of the gentlemen who had gathered at the Capitol building on May 15, 1776. The Capitol building was the home of the House of Burgesses, the Governor’s Council and the General Court. The Capitol building should get a commemorative coin because it was historically significant in colonial times, it has relevance to citizens today, and the future can learn about the history of the Capitol in the colonial period. The Capitol building was the meeting place for the Governor’s Council, the House of Burgesses, and the General Court to talk about laws or taxes. The General Court was the only court able to judge trials about serious crimes like felonies which are crimes like theft, murder, and saying something bad about the king.…

The chilly night air rushes around, a gentle reminder that it is midnight and the world is sleeping. Looking up, all I see is the vast expanse of night sky. The sky always seems to be hovering above earth, just out of reach, no matter how high humans try to venture. Instead of the black ominously swallowing up the world, it seems to sit contently above. The starlight cuts through the dark, creating an allusion of nearness because of the stars’ unmistakable glow.…

In “The Painter of Modern Life,” Charles Baudelaire gives his definition and explanation about the true beauty of art. In the first section “Beauty, Fashion, and Happiness,” Baudelaire shows his concern about the “present” in the painting because he thought that the beauty of the art is “its essential quality of being present” (p.1). In the following passage, Baudelaire uses a lot of words to praise a man named as “Monsieur G” in the essay. He describes Monsieur G, just like the title of this section, as “the artist, man of the world, man of the crowd, and child” (p.5). Baudelaire thought that Monsieur G’s curiosity and observation of the world and life made him such a skilled, unconventional artist.…
