Other participants were dressed informal, the dress code ranged from jeans and a plan bottom down to yoga pants and a t-shirt. The service ended with the meditation leader was talking about mission trip the were offering and asking for donation, which I understand why they asked for donation but it really killed the chill vibe of the service before everyone left which I did not like. After the talked about donation is when the mediation leader read off the name everyone that showed up wrote down in a book for specific prayers for them. I briefly talk to the mediation leader after the service thanking her for inviting EHS students to Dawn Mountain, and I asked why did we chant “Om” during the service. Om or also pronounce Aum is the one eternal syllable of which all that exists is but the development. The past, the present, and the future are all included in this one sound, and all that exists beyond the three forms of time is also implied in it.
