Dawn Mission Research Paper

The Dawn Mission created an image of the Solar System completed by learning both distinct bodies with the same tools on the same spacecraft. In order for the Dawn to carry three science instruments data that will be used in combination to characterize the bodies. The data information that returned from the spacecraft could offer chances for information in our knowledge of how the Solar System shaped. The instruments that are involved are a visible camera, a visible and electromagnetic mapping spectrometer, gamma ray and a neutron spectrometer. The radiometric and optical navigation data will provide data relating to the gravity field in addition to the instruments. According to Jet Propulsion Laboratory since April 11, Dawn has been aiming its camera to the left and forward as it orbits and Ceres rotates. By May 25, it will have mapped most of the globe from that angle. Then it will start all over once more, looking instead to the right and forward from May 27 through July 10. The different perspectives on the terrain make stereo views, which scientists can combine to bring out the full three dimensionality of the alien world. The Dawn Mission was a plan of executive’s discovery program accomplished by the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama. The cameras for the Dawn were provided by Max Plank Institute for Solar System Research. The noticeable and electromagnetic planning spectrometer was backed and matched by the Italian Space Agency and built by SELEX ES with the logical control of the Organization for Space Astrophysics and Planetology of the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics in Italy. The gamma ray and neutron detector was made by Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico and operated by the Planetary Science Institute in
