Sector 7 is a wordless picture book about a boy, “Jack”, who meets a cloud and they instantly become friends. The cloud wants him to help make different designs for the them so they can be unique. The theme of the story is to have imagination, but more importantly be able to use it. In the very beginning there is a picture of Jack drawing sea animals on the window of his school bus. This shows Jack using his imagination to entertain his friends. This starts to develop the theme because this is the first time you see Jack start to show he has this big imagination. The school bus is yellow in the picture because yellow represents

In “A&P” by John Updike, I believe it is a sincere classic because it is still relatable in today's society and portrays a young boy named Sammy who experiences the way life actually works beginning at an early age. The story is about the three young teenager girls who walk into the supermarket wearing only their bathing suits where Sammy, young shop worker, notices the girls, especially one in particular named “Queenie,” while also living in two worlds that he is faced with. I believe that the main theme in this passage involves how a normal life is imaginably different when one takes their mind off reality.
