I, David W. Pierce II, was born in Memphis, TN on September 20th, 1979. I earned my high school diploma from Chester W. Nimitz High School out of Irving, TX. In my short time being at the Zama Field Office, I have taken a Japanese 101 course, and continually strive to better my language proficiency.
I entered the U.S. Army on October 15th, 2009. I successfully completed One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, GA with Alpha Company (CO), 2nd Battalion (BTN) 19th Infantry Regiment (REG), 198th Infantry Brigade (BDE). Upon graduating, I was awarded the Military Occupation Specialty 11B, Infantryman. Afterwards, I was assigned to Bravo CO, 1st BTN 68th Armor REG, 3rd BDE Combat Team at Fort Carson, CO. While at Bravo CO I was assigned as a Rifleman and a Gunner for a M2 Bradley. Subsequently deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan during that time. After four and a half years with Bravo CO, I was accepted into the Army Counterintelligence (CI) Special Agent Course.
I was next assigned to Alpha CO, Bavarian Military Intelligence (MI) Detachment, 2nd MI BTN, 66th MI BDE. While at Alpha CO, I successfully completed the Counterintelligence Probationary Program and conducted an Operation Atlantic Resolve mission at the Joint Multinational Training
