“At the David Oyedepo Foundation we believe that every life is important, so we are constantly working to build platforms of sustainable support that will change the world…and Africa is our starting point” (David Oyedepo Foundation, 2016). Nigeria (where the foundation is located) is globally recognized as a third world country, but with the amount of resources and raw materials she possesses she carries in her the ability to be one of the greatest and most respected countries in the world. With this mindset in the founder of the organization, the focus is to change the above concept of the country and this has done by making investments in the youths of the nation. A strategic change is vital as it ensures that the material offered by this organization is taken to where it is of utmost need so it can be appreciated and optimized. It also determines the support and involvement of volunteers and it will also help the interview and scrutinize all organization, volunteers. It helps the organization support and volunteer involvement and regroup on strategies that will ensure that multitudes experience and understand the love of Christ.

Threats to DOF
• Security Problem. With the current security issue in the country, the foundation may face the uninterested/cautious’ applicants who worry about being affected.
• Dishonest applicants and staffs
• Lack of time and commitment of volunteers
• Fraud/Impersonation \of the foundation on social media
• Lack of interest at the community level
The strategic planning process is the “deliberative, disciplined effort to produce fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide what an organization (or other entity) is (its identity), what it does (its strategies” (Bryson, 2014). It is known as the instrument organizations use to develop and ensure that its goal and vision is met and fully achieved. Looking at the SWOT analysis made, it is obvious that DOF has a lot of ground work to still cover to achieving its vision and mission.
