There were two aspects of the presentation I found most interesting about the presentation. The first was David Monteros perspective on how to fix the system. He said politics has becomes very biased and gains often by dehumanizing the opposing team. Very biased opinions need to be willing to cooperate or reach an agreement with each other and remember that the system is about making sure the individual is properly represented. The analogy he used is America is like a divorced family, and its citizens are the kids their fighting over. My second favorite part of his presentation was at the end when he said, if he we’re running for president he would focus on space travel and new discoveries.
