David Leestma is a 21 years old junior at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He graduated last 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in HVAC with no debt. David took a year off between High school and College because he was not sure what he wants to do for a career. Instead, he works at the café of Sam’s Club for $9 an hour. David got interested when he spent time with a mechanical engineer, who designed HVAC systems, so he decided to take it as his career. He has four younger siblings and his parents were not able to afford his college expenses. He started studying at Grand Rapids Community College for two years because it was cheaper and planned to transfer to Ferris State University to continue his Bachelor’s degree. David saved
