\There is a man. There is a man who has designed the covers of countless non-gossip magazines. A man who has made the mastheads for countless non-gossip magazines. This man also created the font and logo for new Pepsi ads, the Nabisco logo, the logo for Swiss Army, the Ringling Brothers logo, the AC/DC sign (my favorite), and countless more. So, who is this man? His name is David Huerta, and he has been designing for over 40 years (he started around age 25). His work is seen every single day, yet, his name is not normally attached to it. His designs are elegant and simple, but edgy and fresh at the same time. To appear on dozen of products, they must be.
Gerard Huerta designed both the basis of the AC/DC logo and this final one, which is now iconic in the world of classic rock.

He also designs watch faces, like the one for the Swiss Army watch pictured. He also designed the Swiss Army logo (see below)
Gerard designed the Nabisco, Old Tyme Ginger Beer, and Duchess logos.
When Gerard Huerta designed the Pepsi logo, the logo wasn’t the only thing he created. Mr. Huerta also designed the font. He designed a new text type for cans, cups, and commercials.
He has designed things for other brands of food and beverages, too. He designed the notable Nabisco logo that’s on the corner of their products, the Old Tyme Ginger Beer logo, and the designed the Duchess logo.
This font was created for Pepsi’s latest redesign.
Mr. Huerta has done a lot of work in the entertainment industry. He has done movie posters, band logos, and magazine covers alike. His designs range from super elegant, like the Star Trek poster, to classic, like the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Baily’s logo, along with a touch of pleasant craziness, like the Rocky Horror Show poster.
