David Blackwell was a smart african american individual who love and exceeded in math, even till this day he is known as the greatest and famous african american mathematician even after his tragic death back in 2010(at the age of 91). David was born April 24, 1919 in
Centralia, Illinois and wasn't an only child. David was the oldest of four children and had two supporting parents, his mom Mabel Johnson and his dad Grover Blackwell. David’s dad worked for the Illinois central railroad while his mom raised and took care of the kids. Having a supporting teacher during his life in high school was very important to him, he made growth in his mathematical skills and started to tweak with certain kinds of games to see if the outcome would be the same or not or whether or not a player would have a winner strategy.
In 1935 (at the age of 16) which is fascinating attended The University of Illinois and his mathematics grew stronger mentally and physically. David had a hard time adjusting to his environment inn college but he soon came to the conclusion that his father didn't have the money to pay for his studies so his dad started to beg and borrow money from other individuals just to pay for him to go to college. David soon applied for a job that dealt with dishwashing to help finance his stui dies, and still took courses during the summertime and then graduate with his bachelors degree and everything worked out. The University of Illinois for his other the degree (his Masters Degree) which was given to him in 1939 and in 1941 David developed a thesis on Markov Chains which is a mathematical system that was used in the 1900’s. Bringing back the idea of racism David soon had troubles
