I never thought of intelligent people being the rulers of the world because they went to college. I do see Freedman’s point on how high level jobs are only hiring people based on college success because in return they want their business to thrive. It’s funny to think bosses “didn’t routinely expect college degrees,” that is something I won’t experience in my lifetime. Someone’s low IQ back then was not effecting who they married, who their friends were, and where they worked like it is today. That way of life has completely flipped flopped and is completely opposite of today.
