David Goes To School Analysis

In the story, David Goes to School, David’s teacher teaches him a lesson because he breaks many classroom rules. David throws food in the lunchroom. He chews gum in the classroom and he draws on the desk. David’s teacher is very upset with him when he draws on the desk and she tells him to remain after dismissal to clean the desks. I think that this solves the problem. When he cleans the desks, his teacher praises him he learns a lesson. Also, David is greeted by his smiling friends as he makes his way home. I feel that other students will enjoy reading the story, David Goes to School because it teaches about the consequences of breaking rules. I would not want to stay after dismissal so I would not write on my desk. I
