David Dacko was a two-time president of the Central African Republic. Born to a small-scale farmer Dacko received his education at the ecole normale in Congo, where he studied for a career in teaching. He grew in rank and file so quickly that at the age of 21 he became the headmaster of a large primary school in the country's capital. His rise in a political scene was just as meteoric after being elected to Parliament for the social evolution movement of black Africa party. At the age of 27 he quickly became the minister of agriculture stockbreeding water and Forests. After the demise of battle amoeba ganda the prime minister of the autonomous Central African Republic Dacko succeeded as Prime Minister. In 1959 the Republic gained full independence
