Cameron uses pathos to appeal to the audience's feelings in a very light way that does not completely overwhelm them with emotions. The audience, for the most part, are representatives of the Somali people. Cameron makes a very good point about teamwork and unity by saying “If everyone comes together and does their bit I am absolutely convinced that Somalia can solve its problems and ultimately fulfil its potential as a key player in Africa and the world” (para. 9).
