Information about the person or subject’s place in history: Biblical figure
Author Background: Malcolm Gladwell is a non-fiction book writer as well as a canadian journalist. As a book writer, he has published five books so far and David and Goliath being one of them.
Point of View and Author Bias: As it is from a biblical story, while reading I did not see any bias as the author tried to present a non-biased piece.
Real World Connections: This book connected to me the person, in such a way where the book inspired me to have more courage and trust in myself.

“The same qualities that appear to give them strength are often sources of great weakness.” (Page 35) - The selected quote can mean a lot of things at once and all those different meanings combined to create what I consider a significant quote. An example of the double meaning is that this quote says power is weakness but it can also mean with great strength comes foolishness.
“Any fool can spend money. But to earn it and save it and defer gratification...” - Although it is a quote that is a bit off the main topic, this quote I had to put in as I think it made one of the biggest impacts on how I view certain things in life now, such as the direct example of money.
“You can’t concentrate on doing anything if you are thinking...” - This quote gave me a new way of thinking through hard times, when you run into a problem concentrate on what you can do not what you cannot
