Feamster was once a NHL hockey player who was drafted in 1978 to the Chicago Blackhawks. After getting an injury that was incapable of being healed, he was forced to retire in 1985. Feamster has (not including everything) donated money to local charities, payed some of the college tuition of some of his regular employees, and even organized the city’s first high school hockey team. On August 9th, 2014, Michael Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson were walking in the middle of the street when they were approached by a police officer by the name of Darren Wilson. With there being altered stories explaining what happened next rather than choosing one side of the story we can agree that an altercation occurred and it led to the unfortunate death of eighteen year old Michael Brown. Because of the differing stories and videos online, I will not focus on whether I feel like the killing of Michael Brown was justified, but whether the process to indict/or not to indict Officer Darren Wilson was justified and not flawed. Beginning as soon as you read the table of contents of the DOJ report on the Ferguson Police Department…

Energy independency has now become an international subject, spreading with radical pioneers who seek independence from the local power grid. Henk Rogers reiterates, through his campaign to run his house on solar electricity and amicable quest to ensure Hawaii's electrical independency by 2045, that energy independency is accomplished when an individual or even a community can successfully supply their own energy needs without assistance from the power grid. Through his tenacious aspiration to encourage residents to go off grid, Rogers has inspired countless residents to become energy independent. In doing so, he has prioritized it as his ‘number one’ objective, insistent to reduce carbon emission from combustible fuels. The key factor that lead him to partake of the clean energy movement was perturbing fact that Hawaii’s hallmark coral reefs are perishing in the increasingly acidic ocean.…

Smith had the intention of killing his nephew in cold blood, while Jones did have the intention, but due to unfortunate events, he didn’t save his nephew because of the profits involved.…

A 7-2 majority ruled on the case of Dred Scott v. Sanford, citing a wide variety of constitutional grounds for support. One of the weakest arguments of this case was the argument for Dred Scott not being able to be classified as a citizen. As a result, he was not subject to the full right of freedoms and due process of law. Taney wrote that slaves lacked sovereignty and that they were not intended to be included by the framers of the Constitution (5). He writes that slaves were actually, “intended to be excluded from it.”…
