According to popular sources, people fail to use the knowledge and truth about date rape; instead they use ignorance and stay quiet. This topic should have way more attention then what it is getting at the moment. It is a topic that should be brought up more in order to teach and explain to younger generations throughout time. What is date rape? It is rape within a relationship or involving the person one may be with in a relationship. Rape is forcing someone to do something that they do not want to do in any sexual manor. Just because you are in a relationship with a person does not mean they can just come and take what they want. If an individual ignores the topic it is the same as watching it happen and allowing it. Humans should always take a helpful and positive approach towards any situation involving something so harsh. Why do men or women force another person to do things ? Some people feel that if they are in a relationship with somebody it is theirs to take when they want. That statement is completely false ; it is still right to ask and make sure that both people agree . Any problem that emerges should be taken into precaution and handled the right and proper way. This is possibly the most important stage . It takes a person weeks, months, or years to get over itit over . Just because theyre are over the topicrauma does not mean itthey will be forgot about . Righteously It is understandable that the situation should not be forgotten about. It is something they have to live with and bury them self with the rest of their life. With years they won’t forget how it makes them feel . The thoughts that process to their mind can be such as depression, suicidal thoughts, suicidal actions , and maybe even suicide itself . This is the stage people most definitely need to have someone there for them throughout every step of the way . Confining in there own silence and misery can draw the person to their links. Individuals might be prescribed anti-depression medications and meeting to not allow them to get to that point in their life. A person dealing with problems should constantly take trips and go places to just clear their mind and keep an open mindset .
