Directions: For each scenario below, identify a target behavior for reduction, provide an operational definition (please make sure you use the criteria from your operational definition assignment), and identify a data collection method for the selected behavior. In addition, provide a short justification for the data collection method of your choice (i.e., why this method is appropriate) for each scenario. Remember not every response can be appropriately quantified using frequency.

The grocery store manger reports that Chris sometimes stops stocking shelves and has a hard time getting back on track, resulting in other stock people having to do double the amount of work. The manager reports that he would like Chris to be better at stocking shelves in a timely manner to avoid other employee outrage.
The target behavior would be to reduce the time it takes Chris to stock shelves after he has stopped. Operational definition: Chris removes objects from the cart using one or both hands, the objects will be lifted up (outside of the cart), and placed on shelves without stopping for more than 1 minute.
In this case latency recording would be the appropriate measuring method because I want to measure how long it takes Chris to begin stocking shelves once it has been requested from his manager. I would measure the length of time between the request and the initiation of the behavior.

The teacher reports his outbursts include throwing pencils and paper throughout the classroom. His teacher would like to help George interact with other children more, in hopes to reduce his
