This process is that organisms that adapt to the surrounding environment survive more and give more off spring. If natural selection is true why don't Eskimos have fur? In addition, since the Darwinian Theory states that organisms have a common ancestor then Eskimos should have fur as they have a common ancestor with polar bears. Even Darwin's book, which name's is On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, is quite irrational. New species simply don't evolve by natural selection; they just get modified and diversified by means of two processes, crossing over and random assortment during …show more content…
Nevertheless, the rate of mutation is approximately one base pair change in one billion base pair per replication cycle. DNA error- checking and error- repair are two proccesses that occur and usually they prevent and repair mutations. For an organism to evolve from another, a huge rate of mutation must take place, a great amount of genetic information would be added, and the proofreading of DNA polymerase, an enzyme that is essential for DNA replication, would not be effective. There is no observed case that shows that this could happen. Finally, a scientific theory is a hypothesis that is then supported by observations and explanations. It may be right, wrong, or even partially wrong. There are various evidences that support the Theory of Evolution and many others that prove it's opposite. Some people are against the theory, others believe and even added more and more ideas to it. There is no strong scientific evidence that proves that either side is 100% true and
