Darwin’s theory of evolution is widely looked upon, his theory has been around for a very long time and many people have looked into the theory. Charles Darwin was an english naturalist who studies of a variation of plants and animals during a five year voyage around the the world in the 19th century. Charles Darwin did explain his theory and his findings in his book called the “the origin of species”. This book was published in the 1859. Darwin's ideas caused a lot of controversy, and this continues today, because they can be seen as conflicting with religious views about the creation of the world and the creatures in it.

Piaget liked to know how humans learned and how they get their knowledge, he did this by looking at the brain of a human being, he looks at the brain that has already been programmed to learn he found out that all a human being needs is a supportive environment to develop at their own rate and at their own time. Piaget found out that children develop through four main stages, and by going through the four main stages the children have to think about specific things. Piaget never put a persuasive age to any of his stages as he believed that a child would reach this step whenever they are ready because he seen every human beginning as an individual.
The first stage is the sensorimotor stage this stage mainly focuses on babies needs to develop into an infant, at this stage the child is starting to understand the physical world causing and effect and object permanence such as peek-a-boo when you are there but when putting your hands over your face the child is unable to see you therefore when you come back they are very happy and laughing because they didn't know where you went.
