When I was 10, children in my suburb gathered in one place late at night to play hide and seek with a flashlight. Do you know what is hide and seek with the flashlight? It is the same game, but it needs to play in darkness and seeker must use a flashlight to find hiding players. If seeker notices someone, all he or she need to do is call out this person’s name. Somber sky was a cover that killed every single source of light that day. Almost every house’s windows closed. For our game, it was impossible to find a more appropriate time.

Because we did not live in the Astana itself, there was a forest behind our homes, long woodland belt - the border of our hide and seek game. You can hide anywhere, but not in the woods. Search someone in the forest is like to look for a needle in a haystack. Of course, this rule was broken many times, because children afraid to be found. There was small swing. I clung to it when there was a ray of light.

Suddenly, someone came out of the corner and sent a beam of light almost straight at me. I bounced in the forest’s direction to run. In case if he noticed me, I stand near the bush for a minute waiting to hear my name. The light beam explored the swing for some time, and then switched to me.

I thought that I attracted attention of the homeowners. Better part of parents in our district knew about our games, but there are always those who do not like that. I sat down in the grass and I have tried to discern who it is.

Human directed the beam of light on my face; I raised hands to close my eyes. It became weird because this person did not said a single word. He just stayed and looked at me with a flashlight.

“You caught me”- I shouted, with the hope that if it was the homeowner, he will understand that we play a game. Then I clapped eyes on voices and someone with the flashlight two houses away from
