Do you want to be a zero or would you like to be a DARE hero? It’s your choice. Before the DARE program, I was without a clue on what the effects of drugs would be. Now, I am very educated on what the effects of drugs are. Drugs can cause memory loss, weaken your senses, and even death.

To me don’t be a zero be a DARE hero, means to never take take drugs and by doing that you are being a hero because you have saved yourself from so much damage. If you are asked to take drugs, follow these steps: define, assess, respond, and lastly evaluate. In DARE, we talked and learned about a lot of drugs. The first two are tobacco and marijuana. These drugs are similar because they are both smoked, but tobacco can be chewed as well. Over-the-counter

The intent of boarding schools was to force American Indian youths to become United States citizens by removing them from their Native culture.
