Martin Shkreli had increased the price of the drug Daraprim from $13.50 to $750 per tablet overnight. Daraprim ,treats a parasitic infection that is dangerous and potentially deadly for pregnant women, the elderly, and people with HIV. Martin says that he increased the price of Daraprim because he wanted to have a lot of money. Martin cannot be arrested or have any consequences because the overnight increase of a potentially life-saving drug by 5556%, appears to be perfectly legal Laws prohibiting price gouging tend only to apply to “periods of emergency,” such as natural disasters. Even though Martin had put his morals behind to get the reward of making more money he did not regret anything even though he is technically is murdering people who can not afford $750 will have to suffer and die because of this. This can lead others to betray their morals because they would most likely resort to steal to get the tablet. Rep Elijah had told Martin that he would go down as a greddy drug company executives. Before Martin’s arrest, he was asked if he had another chance would he do anything differently. He answered, “I probably would have raised the price higher.”Because that would have made more money, and “this is a capitalist society, capitalist system and capitalist rules. Purpose The purpose of the text and videos were to present and prove the point that Mr Donald Trump isn’t someone who is strictly confined to what the media says. That he can differ and break the stereotypical viewpoints that have been placed upon him due to social media and other types of news. The reason that these news could be biased could be due to the fact that they had some kind of political agenda in which they would benefit from having the Liberalist Hillary Clinton as the president.…

Martin Shkreli (who is considered to some as the most hated man in America) is an entrepreneur is a CEO of a major pharmaceutical company that provides treatment for AIDs/ cancer patients. He is a business man who realized that he could make millions off these patients since there is no cure for these types of diseases. He saw the opportunity to raise the cost of these drugs from about $15 to an estimated $700 for each pill! I don't believe this is ethical and I'm sure there are many more companies doing the same.…

Though some would believe that making guns completely illegal would solve everything, this is not the case. Mexico is a prime example as to why making guns illegal would just make things worse. In Mexico, one has to get permission from the government to buy a gun as well as pay up to thousands of dollars (Burnett 2012). Not only is it difficult to even get a gun but also, “The military further regulates the caliber of the weapon, how many guns a person can own, how much ammunition they can buy each month, and where in the country they can take the weapon” (Burnett 2012). Mexico has a notorious reputation for its gun violence.…

Things wouldn’t go that smoothly and more problems would occur. Conclusively speaking, I’ve come to the conclusion that stricter gun control laws are the way to go. You can’t go from one extreme like high gun violence to another extreme like no guns at all. Some American citizens really love and cherish their guns, so we shouldn’t penalize them for the harm done by the irresponsible. Stricter gun laws are necessary and should put an end to guns getting in the wrong hands.…
