Dante's Inferno Summary Chapter 9

It is a nice fall evening and Dante was heading home after a day of work when suddenly there is a loud boom, then the sky turned blood red and clouds became alarmingly dark. Out of nowhere his car stopped and when it did you could hear the screams of people. When he turned around he saw it the portal spitting out demon like creatures. Then he realizes that they are actually demons and starts running home. When he gets home he sees a gruesome murder scene. he sees his wife and two children dead and a demon laughing, this is when something inside him breaks and he loses all sense of reality and charges the demon in a blinding rage screaming “I'm going to kill you” the demon laughs as it thinks nothing is going to happen but then the man hits him and hits him until he kills the demon then he realizes what he just did and with that realization he comes up with another one and that is he can kill demons. Dante was later woken up by the sound of a evil laugh it was coming from inside the room he was hiding in as he looked around waiting for his eyes to adjust to the darkness he saw the glowing red eyes of another demon. When he realized this he felt the rage coming back and he charged the demon but this time this demon had company and 4 more demons showed up and fought Daunte during the fight the demons got
