Daniel from Daniel’s Story written by Carol Matas is admirable. He is someone other’s admire because he is smart, determined, and most of all because he is fearless.
The first reason why Daniel is admirable is because he is smart. For example, he pinched his cheeks and bit his lips to look healthier and not end up dying in a gas chamber. He knows that if he looks healthier he will be going to his next destination. This shows he's smart because he did not go to the line where he would get killed. Another example that demonstrates how smart Daniel was is when he followed his dad's advice, which is that his mother's spirit will always be watching you so don't disappoint me or her. This shows that Daniel is smart because he listened to everyone

Imagine you are a young man – Daniel - who had been secluded from civilization for five years, you finally make a friend – Joel - and he gets captured by the Romans who are taking over your country. It would be a very risky task to try to get him back when all you are armed with is a small band of untrained boys. Most people agree that they decided to try, some people think that it was a good idea to get him back, other people think Daniel should have given him up. I think that Daniel should’ve rescued Joel for three reasons, Joel was Daniel’s first friend, the small team of zealots needed Joel, and for Joel’s family.…

The case of Nadin's story is one of many stories where people become victims of bullying. This type of behavior is so disturbing, as it is sad to think that an individual can randomly decide that they can speak in a negative tone to an individual, hits, fights, or even kills an innocent person for no reason. The three major types of bully's are the bully-victim, the aggressive bully, and the passive bully. The most common type of bully is the aggressive bully, who is typically confident, physically strong, fearless, and lack empathy for their victims.…

When reading Ana’s memory of a story that occurred during her 18th year of life, I saw a lot of features that I could easily relate to developmental themes for emerging/ early adulthood stage. For starters, I noticed that Ana was able to start thinking about other people in a different light than she would have if she was still in the adolescent stage. Ana without knowing it was performing postformal thought. The most common one that was happening inside of Ana’s head was the provisional postformal thought. Postformal thought is a form of cognitive development.…

The Ocean of the Streams of Story proposes water and stories are alike. It describes stories and water as something similar, something related to one another.
