Regarding the case involving Daniel McAlinden, I respectfully put to you that should bail be granted, I, Robert McAlinden, would be in a position to provide surety.
Being Daniel’s father, I would ensure that strict conditions would accompany this surety and would see to it that he presents himself to the local Police Station whenever required.
He would be under my direct supervision and living with my wife and myself on our small property (60ac) situated 8km out of Bridgetown, which is 100km South East of Bunbury.
We have a secure and loving home with more than enough work on the property to keep him busy and hopefully give him a sense of purpose and self respect.
