Daniel Gilbert passage is a study on people investing in the stock market. The idea was to figure out who would regret their decision more: The person with money in a stock who refuses to change to another more promising stock, or the person who changed and later realized it was the wrong decision. The obvious prediction would be the person who changed and lost money and/or potential money. Making a wrong move is much worst then not making a move at all right. Nine out of the ten people thought so too. Though study show those thought are wrong. Gilbert explains it's easier for our "psychological immune system" to rationalize an action because it's would still be a learning experience.
