“Two things define your personality, the way you manage things when you have nothing, and the way you behave when you have everything” (Unknown). Daniel Bodoh is a sixteen year old boy. He lives a very interesting life with so many different adventures and obstacles. I have definitely witnessed his personality throughout his high school experience. Daniel hasn't given much thought to the future as far as what he wants to do. He lives in the now and doesn't care what people think about that. This is what makes me believe that Daniel will over the course of the next few years develop his own turn personality. The fact that Daniel is so passionate about so many hobbies makes me believe he is going to stick with those hobbies for a long time. Fishing and hunting are definitely his weakness. Every time I brought those activities up in conversation I just noticed how happy and lit up he got. Many adults don't have to worry about what kind of personality they are putting off. I believe right now deep down Daniel definitely cares what people think. That being said Daniel will grow up and start caring less about what others think about him. As soon as we get out of high school our personalities will be able to come out and be

Personality refers to the emotional and physical environment or surrounding that influences the behavior or character of an individual. Through this, the consistent or stable behavior, attitude, interest and capabilities of a person are used to predict their reaction to particular circumstances. Personality development, therefore, is believed to be coined from two significant and contrasting theories, psychodynamic and social learning theories. The psychodynamic theory is among the first influential explanation that combines the genetic and biological forces together with an individual’s social experience in a bid to explain personality acquisition from childhood. It also tries to explain how an individual’s unsatisfactory childhood experience…

Imagine you are a young man – Daniel - who had been secluded from civilization for five years, you finally make a friend – Joel - and he gets captured by the Romans who are taking over your country. It would be a very risky task to try to get him back when all you are armed with is a small band of untrained boys. Most people agree that they decided to try, some people think that it was a good idea to get him back, other people think Daniel should have given him up. I think that Daniel should’ve rescued Joel for three reasons, Joel was Daniel’s first friend, the small team of zealots needed Joel, and for Joel’s family.…

Andre Gide, a French writer, once said “It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for something you are not.” This quote explains how life should be lived, because in life you meet people who can be sham. To me it is terrible to live your life like this because you are trying to be somebody you’re not. “I just need you to believe me.” Daniel Fights a Hurricane and Take Shelter illustrate the story of two hypersensitive men, Daniel and Curtis, who constantly have visions and difficulty distinguishing between reality and imagination. While Daniel’s experience is elaborated by Shane Jones from three perspectives - the first person perspective (“I”), the third person perspective(“he”) and Daniel’s wife Karen’s perspective, Curtis’s is illustrated by Jeff Nichols from just the first person perspective where the audience is taken through his traumatic nightmares and visions. Despite that, both works seem to focus on the two men’s capability of premonition rather than their mental illnesses and one surely can find differences as well as parallel between the two characters.…

The world will not ever totally understand the autistic mind due to every case being different. However, most people do not understand the workings of their minds. Kim Peek said this perfectly, “You don’t have to be disabled to be different because everybody’s different (Tammet 201).” People need to realize everyone comes to understand things differently and this also goes for putting faith in God. Daniel shared how he came to know God and that many people are surprised to hear that he is a Christian.…
