Should cellphones be illegal while driving? Driving while talking on a cell phone is extremely dangerous. Texting while driving should be against the law in this and every state due to the personal dangers, social dangers, and parental dangers posed by the practice.

There are many reasons why cell phones should be illegal while driving. It causes distraction to drivers, and it endangers self and others. More than fifty research studies have reported the risks of cell phone use while driving. The use of a cell phone while driving can lead to a crash or much more dangerous situations. “A study from the Harvard Center of Risk Analysis estimates that cell phone use while driving contributes to six percent of crashes.”

    A visual distraction is anything that takes your eyes off the road.
