Dangers Of Spread

Decent Essays
All that stalking, to get you talking
Ends up being spread, now you can’t get bed
Gossip is like a chain, once spread can make you insane
It makes people cry, they want to die
These days sent by phone from unknown Stop all this crap, all you hear is yap yap yap
Words said in life can hurt like a knife
What you say effects people everyday

Spread at school by a fool
You think it’s cool, it’s just plain cruel
No one likes it
So stop it

Aily Shimizu’s view on stalking specifically revolved around cyberstalking in her work of Recent Developments Domestic Violence in the Digital Age: Towards the Creation of a Comprehensive Cyberstalking Statute. She describes how much more dangerous for stalking has gotten to because of the digital technologies everyone has now. “Indeed, the Internet has provided a new vehicle by which individuals can commit the traditional act of stalking” (117). These two characters in this cartoon shows a bread disappearing into a toaster and coming back out. Both characters ponder where the bread went when they didn't see it for the short time it disappeared in the toaster. This shows they lack object permanence which is when a child from the age birth to 2 years old cannot see that objects exist independently of one's actions. A good example if a child lacks object permanence if they are entertained by peek-a- boo. The baby believes that you have truly disappeared, but when you have suddenly reappear, they are surprised and excited and giggle.…

Millions of comments and posts are created each day, which advertise personal details, such as a photo of yourself, or a message about your life. In my poem titled, “The Other Side of the Screen”, the story of a girl being tormented by a male peer on a form of social media is told. After being slandered many times, the girl ends her life.…

In today's generation, our world seems to be controlled a lot by technology and social media. Why does this matter? The fact people are wasting a lot of their life time on their phones and missing out on important and more valuable things in life by doing so is letting technology win the battle against us. " Can We Auto-Correct Humanity?" by Richard Williams, best known as Prince Ea, expressed thoughts of social media and technology taking over humanity. "We cannot auto-correct humanity because we must correct ourselves," (Williams 2014) was Williams’s own answer to his question of auto-correcting humanity.…
