I mean, you are updating your status, commenting on other people’s status, commenting on pictures, leaving wall posts, etc. You are all over the place. I know other addicts who SNEAKED for 24 hours straight on Red bull and coffee.” (Osuagwu, Nnamdi Godson). Users are able to show the world the fictional story not the reality of their life’s. Facebook can be so addicting it can take over someone’s life. People can get caught being of Facebook constantly at work and get fired. Kids can be on Facebook all day during school and fail. Many different things could stop the dangers. To start, Facebook could monitor who a person is when they create account. Doing that would help get rid of people creating fake accounts. Facebook requires users to be 13 or older to have an account, but why can’t that minimum age be 18? So kids aren’t getting emotionally damaged or addicted to social media. Granted anyone can lie about their age, but Facebook could come up with a way to prove they are actually older than 18 and that they are real person. Also, Facebook should be able to shut down hate pages and anyone whom is cyberbullying. If pages and profiles are monitored and it could take away most of the hate and danger. Additionally, Facebook should disable location services. No one needs to be sharing their location
