Over 554 million people play soccer, football and box. Concussions have always been an issue in people’s everyday lives but now that major organization just talk about the good of play their sports and not the effects that people could obtain playing the sport. The number of Concussions and brain disease has risen. By informing people of the dangers of concussions you can prevent them from happening in sports.
Anyone can be effected by a concussion. In the article “Frequency of head-impact-related” its talks about how several NFL players have received a concussion. Which are the players that they know about “since as many as 80% are never even reported.” An argument can be made that this doesn’t occur in every sport. Even though sport organizations like the NFL say that they are aware of the issue but they don't talk about CTE which are obtained by just small hits which could later on build into severe brain damage, then leading the death of an individual. So just small hit that officials say is nothing is actually a lot.
In order to lower the chance of a concussion happening in a sport people need to be more informed about the dangers of them. By not informing people about the dangers of concussions then they will keep putting themselves at risk not solving the problem leading to more brain damage and death, but if people show that they care about the issue than organizations would be forced the change or apply some rule that protects players. There is a way that the community can help, just simply wearing the right protection when individuals play a sport or being more cautious can prevent people from getting a
