“Take the right side to go up the hill and be careful!”
During winter break last year, I went on a family and friend dirt bike camping trip to Forest Hill, California. We went up to Forest Hill on Christmas day. I was very happy because of the morning before we left, I opened my Christmas presents and I still had the memories of cookies and milk and family time in my mind. I have been riding motorcycles since I was little and my dad was confident in my performance, so he let my older brother and I go on trails together. With my dad leading wearing a red and white Fox brand shirt and me just behind him wearing a pink and black Fox brand shirt we left camp and spent most of the day riding almost all of the trails in Forest Hill. The fresh scent of pine trees and exhaust gas filled my nose as I made my way, trail to trail. Large rocks and small bumps filled the narrow trail. Occasionally I would ride through a puddle and get my dirty brownish-black riding boots soaked with water. Random thoughts filled my mind, as I reflected on what has been going on in my life.
