What Does Love Mean To Me Essay

Dancing with her to the sound of my music Have you ever fall in love? What is love to you? Is "love" a meaningful four letter word? Or is it a word constructed with four meaningless letters? You might have asked these questions while growing up, or during a time in your life where things were not going your way or as planned. Per my life experience, I have asked these questions during bad times. I have asked myself these questions when I lost faith in my partner, when something drastic happened in the relationship, or when I had to face a personal crossroads and make a decision that would affect my entire life. In one of those situations, I turned to my religious faith and asked God to help me and to guide me with wisdom to find the missing piece in my life. So, I turned to music for inspiration, and I left it up to God to show me what true love really is. One summer night in the year 2010, I met the most …show more content…
This song means so much to me that it creates a stamp of true love in my heart. For example, two of the verses that caught my attention were: "When I see your face there’s not a thing that I would change ‘cause you’re amazing just the way you are and when you smile the whole world stops and stares for a while ‘cause girl, you’re amazing just the way you are." In relation to my love for this woman, these two verses are the most significant and more meaningful verses of this song. In other words, through my life, this is the piece of the puzzle I was missing. I feel this song is so powerful and so real because it reminds me of my beautiful wife, and that she is the spark that I was missing from my life. No matter how she looks any giving day, every time I see her face nothing really matters because she is a remarkable human

If you’ve ever been in love with a person, you know it is that feeling when you got lost in one’s eyes, or when you get butterflies in your stomach when they are around. Throughout my lifetime, there has been moments of laughter as well as grief. But a moment in my life that was pivotal was when I first felt the love of my life, at the moment, fade away slowly from me and sort of detach from our relationship. The song by Christian Nodal- “Adios Amor” showed me how at times when the love fades between partners to the point where there is no love at all, you have to do your best to move on rather than spending time grieving the love that is lost. Therefore, the song “Adios Amor” gave me the tough realization that some relationships are best to let go of if they don’t work as a young adult, and will continue to guide me throughout my life.…

The most influential music in my life is the song “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw. Both my dad and I love country music, especially Tim McGraw. My dad thinks the world of my older sister and I. Like any great father, he would do absolutely anything for his girls. Whenever he hears this song on the radio, or wherever, he turns the volume up and belts out this song. This song makes me so grateful that I have such a huge blessing as my father, I don’t know what I would ever do without him.…
