The play that I have attended was called "Dancing Lessons" at the Jewish Ensemble Theatre. I attended the play on Sunday April 17, 2016. It was located in West Bloomfield on 15th Mile and Drake." The reason why I wanted to see the play because I want to see what it is like to see an actual performance. This allowed me the opportunity to take my mind off of reality for a short period of time. Lastly, "Dancing Lessons" was one of the most comedic plays ever not because the characters were hilarious, but it allows the audience the opportunity to have a good time.

The size of the theatre was medium. The audience was crowded for the duration of the play not because everybody wanted to see the play. The actor and audience relationship help

show more entertaining. The situations that both Ever and Senga have encountered were believable to a certain extent such as when Ever was freaking out when being touched and Senga had to dance while being injured. Other than that, both of their problems were solved. The characters lead me to new understanding because there are more qualities in the characters themselves and not just their personalities. Both Senga and Ever were funny because they talked about each other in a way that does not discriminate each other.

Even if the play was a comedy, Dancing Lessons was still an enjoyable play for fans and other people alike. Nevertheless, I did not laugh as much at the play, but it left a remarkable impact on me when the show had a happy ending. The play itself was worth watching, but there are no words to explain my feelings about it. At the end of the day, people will understand that there is more that one way to make other people feel satisfied and make a positive impact to the world around them. Thus, making a better place for us

I was able to see a different approach on how to grab the audience’s attention from the other director’s performance. The scene at the same time was very comical, but also held you on the edge of your seat with its high tension and wonderful transformation of a relationship between two characters on stage. This really grabbed my attention and taught me that a transformation of a relationship on stage really enriches the performance. Overall, the knowledge I gained from this activity in class really helped me establish a foundation and base for the mechanics of…
