Dancing in Colombia by Fernando Botero displays a clear painting as a group of people playing music and dancing, possibly in a bar or café ( see figure 1). This image uses warm colors such as red, brown, and black. The lines used in this painting seem to be thick curvy lines. Details prove the floor looks covered in what seems to be apples and cigarettes. The image looks to be massed with 7 bulky, yet giant musicians playing instruments such as cello, and guitar with no strings. One can notice that the musicians are predominately male with one female. The couple below looks to be petite but bulky as well. One could believe that the displayed juke box is used more often and that the musicians are only there for a one night act. The visible light bulbs could possibly mean it is night time. Viewers could sense the smell of alcohol and depreciated cologne and perfume.
