But they both survive the storyline between these movies is that they both have some great music tracks & Some same humor . Also John Dunbar and Colonel Robert gould shaw have to deal with tough decisions in their journeys and taking on a lot of responsibility from a higher rank above them. Between the native’s and the blacks they deal with other races and become part of a family and community to were they back each other up on sticky situations and help fight one another with respect. The humor they have with one another is slightly different the whole movie it self can be taken seriously and very entertaining to people but who doesn’t like some humor in a movie , so that ties in with John j Dunbar with the wolf , so that is how he had gotten his Sioux name (Dances with wolves) also ties in with the movie title. With the movie glory the humor in that movie would be the the black community where they tell jokes and be happy but also with a bit of seriousness in it like a roller coaster but with the Colonel Robert he deals with giving pain to the guy who doesn’t approve of him running an black army but he decides to wreck his whole office so that he gets what he wants and
