We show our support for our girl’s track and field team, our boy's water polo team, and the girl's golf team. We also show support for our amazing football team! They were showing us what being a Husky truly means. We were all laughing at the games we had. My personal

As I get off the bus, and stretch my legs after what seemed like a very long bus ride, I noticed a certain smell in the air. I have been here before, and each time the visits have been very uncomfortable. I love nothing more than to step on the ball field, and smell the fresh cut grass, and my kangaroo skin catchers glove. This ball field was different, for many different reasons. Playing baseball against Mountain Valley was always fun, because we always won.…

I started off as a shy little girl who hid in the corner, barely extending her limbs as I attempted to mock those in front of me. As time elapsed, I persevered through challenging ten hour practices and the taunting of my peers.…

A Thousand Experiences Throughout life, individuals face different obstacles and struggles; my obstacle was my tendency to be shy. For example, when I was faced with social pressures like speaking in front of a class for a presentation, or meeting new people, I would be a nervous wreck. My palms would sweat, my voice would tremble, and it took all the strength I could muster to overcome my irrational fears. I only had a small, albeit close knit group of friends due to my introverted ways.…
