I came across couple of questions and made me think would people actually prefer using dimmer lights when they can use brighter lights after all brighter the workspace or environment is, the better is to work and practice on those places. Why not use CFL bulb light or even LED lights depending on the budget of any individual or company. In a place like Wisconsin air-conditioning during the winter is always necessary and even during summer. The temperature has to be maintained to create a healthy environment among the dancers. Saving electrical energy by not using or reducing the use or air conditioning may be green way of thinking but may not be sustainable enough. As dancers dance in studios they sweat and get tired due to which the temperature should not go below 18c because some people may start to face breathing problems due to less density of oxygen present in the atmosphere at that moment and hence create problems like bronchitis. This in return will cost more money and sometimes may take peoples death. Thinking about this issue temperature and air conditioning in dance studios should be maintained at all times no-matter the how much we have to use it. We may however reduce using it during night hours when no one is using the studio. The studios should also have sprung flooring system to minimize injuries from dance.
