Overall the performance is very impressive and inspired. It is very beautiful to see and to understand the history of African American in civil ear as slavery. The dancer movement presented the feeling of being drowned but keep staying strong for the right. First, the dynamic of the performance was a set of group in six dancers performed. In each section, the choreographer narrowed down to five dancers, then to four, to trio and lastly to two as one man versus one woman. The choreographer tried to tell a message of a strong group living to fight to the right. Even though they presented a drowned move of a loss of hope but it would really see from how much dedication they had put in the performance. In my opinion, the message that the choreographer wanted to share is very important to the America’s history. It tells people sacrifices had been made to create a wonderful future of freedom
