What is a dance leader?
A dance leader is responsible for learning the dance and teaching them to the other club members. They adjust the dance if the moves are deemed inappropriate and/or too hard for majority of the club members. A dance leader is aware that there will be more practices that they have to do compared to a regular club member. They also have characteristics of a leader: listens well, cooperative, determined, willing, and reflective, and most importantly not selfish and cares about their fellow members.

You will perform the dance.
You will teach the dance.
You are done, now wait and see if you are accepted.
Other information:
Why do I have to do the audition? The club wants the best people to teach others, therefore an audition is needed to ensure that :D
How many days do we get to learn the dance? Two weeks
Do I have to do the exact dances that is given to me? Absolutely not! we encourage creativity. Treat the audition dance clip as a real kpop dance that you will teach. You have to show your ability to teach and change the choreography if needed (as stated above). All we ask is that you don’t change the entire dance or most of the dance because in a real kpop choreography you won’t get to change everything!
Why is there an interview? The short interview will let us know if you are able to handle certain situations. The interview questions will be open questions so just be yourself, you don’t have to worry on anything. (Example question: If a team member is struggling doing a certain step, What will you do?)
Who will be watching me during my audition? We will keep all auditions private. The judge panel will contain friendly people like Serah Del Rio, Alice Milana, and most likely Ms.

Can I still try? OF COURSE! We encouraged everyone in the club to audition; you don’t have to be professional to join! Everyone who had tried dancing before will always find it hard to learn a new choreography, but with enough practice, you will be able to learn the dance even if this is only your first time! JUST PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!
Have other questions? Ask Serah Del Rio and/or Alice Milana

Creating ideas with everyone around you and transforming those ideas into a masterpiece is a process like no other. With everyone’s opinions out in thin air, you can put all of your ideas into one to create something so beautiful. In Modern especially it was really intriguing to watch the whole process of how the dance was created. Every pirouette and grande jeté felt so liberating and suddenly, I was dancing the final steps in the choreography. After my solo was complete, I curtsied, concluding my performance. I would have felt home sick with all that final review so it was pleasant and peaceful having entertainment for such a low cost but great performance. The movements I identified were a lot of the terms I went over in dance class from degage to grand battement, the list goes all over. The name of the performance should be called “The Art of Adventure” and it should be divided into subgenres which focuses on the main theme adventure. Adventure can be dim or bright but they always seem to have a long lasting well produced ending.…
