The One
The sun started to rise among the horizon. Suddenly the bell rings. Nick suddenly wakes up to reality. A tall young boy with brown shiny hair called Josh became one of Nick's best friends. Nick, a tall, brown eyed guy with brown hair slammed against the lockers waiting to talk about the dance.

“So,” Nick chuckled, “Who are you going to accompany to the dance tomorrow?”

“Kate,” Josh mumbled,”I’ve always wanted to go with her, and now I finally got the guts to ask her to the dance.” Nick froze like ice, he couldn't move at all.

“You are going to the dance with,” Nick hesitated for a second,” with Kate!”
The last few felt like ages. Nick felt a variety of emotions, and he felt like a wave hit him and he’s being engulfed into the sand. He awoke from reality from a loud honk from the school bus. Nick hesitantly thought about going to the dance by himself. He put on a white marshmallow like suit and a jacket with black silk pants. After he approached the dance, the first thing he two people he gnomed at were Kate and Josh. Once again the sight of them together irritated Nick, so he trudge over to them.

“So, I see you went to the dance with Kate,” Nick wailed. He started to stop and deliberated for a second.
“Listen,” Nick softly and quietly said,” All of this- I’m sorry. I selfishly thought about myself and didn’t cognate about you. My mindless, childish decisions controlled my brain, for I became incised at you and ” Nick paused for a second,” I’m glad you went to the dance with Kate.”
“I’m sorry too. I know you don’t like Kate, and i really should have told you first before asking her,” Josh continued,” I know you were just looking out for me, and I’m sorry you have no one to go to the dance with.”
Nick lets out a big sigh. “Hey, It’s your night, enjoy it you only get one.” Nick
