However, "Dolly Dinkle" is not a qualified dance instructor. She received her training from another studio just like hers, never got a degree, and decided that running her own studio wouldn't be so hard. "Ms. Dinkle" has no credentials whatsoever and she is not required to have any to become a dance instructor. …show more content…

As well as having a desire to be able to receive an education in a field that I adore, I do not believe that I can open a credible studio without a college education. I hope to one day train the next generation of professional dancers, and a strong background in dance is required of me to make that possible. I love the dance program at UNCG because it is so diverse and will be a wonderful opportunity to begin making connections with up and coming, as well as already established, professionals. Being a part of the program will give me many amazing opportunities that will hopefully shape my career. My hope is that UNCG will help to make my goals

For my dance report, I saw the Fall Dance at Adelphi University on December 4, 2016. It was called “Aszure Barton.” The two pieces that really stood out to me were “Tarantella” and “Consumed.” They both displayed great amounts of emotion through their choreography, backdrop, costumes, colors, music, and lighting. “Tarantella” and ‘Consumed” gave off opposite moods because of their specific components.…

Watching dance in person is an unforgettable experience. No matter how many different dances you watch on video, there is no substitute for seeing it in person. Observing the technique class and the rehearsal gave me so much insight on how much work is put into each individual dance. It made me realize that dancers are perfectionists and will persistently go over one small part of a dance until it is absolutely perfect. Observing the technique class and rehearsal allowed me to see the dedication the dancers and instructors have to their art.…

There was an average size of one to eight dancers per project which made it the ideal size for the concert. I really enjoyed the creativity and effort put into this performance.…

This video was published on YouTube on November 25, 2007 and performed at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. This video is very beautiful and impressive at the first time I saw it. Then I keep watching it again to really focus on the detail of very movement and sections.
